Last week we talked about fast-food options for dinner. I know I’ve talked a lot in the past about the importance of breakfast, and really, all your meals count. So, with that in mind, I thought this week we’d take a look at some fast-food breakfast options that, again, aren’t the “best” choice, but certainly better than nothing or a doughnut and frappacino.

At about 500 or fewer calories each, these options will allow you to get a good start to the day and your momentum for a healthy day of eating won’t be thrown off track.

Wendy’s:

1) Artisan Egg Sandwich and an Apple (~460 calories)

2) Steel Cut Oatmeal and an Apple (~420 calories)

Chick Fil A:

1) Chicken, Egg & Cheese Biscuit with a Medium Fruit Cup (530 calories)

2) Multigrain Oatmeal with Toppings (290 calories)

McDonald’s:

1) Egg McMuffin with a Fruit’n Yogurt Parfait (450 calories)

2) Fruit and Maple Oatmeal (290 calories)
