Adults and kids love this bone-healthy snack, high in calcium and vitamin D, without any added sugar or saturated fat. Each ingredient has also been shown to decrease bad (i.e., LDL) cholesterol and/or blood pressure, so you can literally hear your bones.

  • 1 cup cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1½ cup nonfat (skim) milk fortified with Vitamin D
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup instant oats
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend for 30 seconds. Stir and then blend for an additional 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
