What is the CoreLife Care App?

 

The CoreLife Care App is an engaging digital tool designed to seamlessly integrate your CoreLife program into your everyday life. From your home screen, you can track your key goals, including weight, nutrition, and activity, alongside additional health metrics like mood and hydration. You can also explore weekly deep-dives that show how these factors work together to support your overall progress.

The app includes nutrition tracking powered by an industry-leading food database and custom recipes, along with activity tracking, workout resources, and more, all in one place.

Stay motivated by earning badges for consistency and engagement, and connect wearable or phone health data to bring even more of your wellness journey into the app. With the CoreLife Care App, your health data, care plan, and progress all come together in one connected experience.

What is the CoreLife membership?

CoreLife offers a membership-based model designed to support your wellness journey through flexible options. There are three membership tiers, along with select a la carte options such as a standalone Care App or fitness center access. Many members choose bundled options to get the most complete experience across digital tools and in-person wellness support.

Membership tiers include CoreCare Connect, CoreCare Plus, and CoreCare Pro, each building on the level before it with additional features such as fitness center access, body composition tracking, and personal training benefits.

What value does a CoreLife membership provide?

A CoreLife Membership complements the CoreLife Program by providing ongoing tools, resources, and support outside of your clinical visits. While medical appointments and care plans are part of the program itself, the membership enhances your day-to-day experience with digital tracking, fitness access, and additional wellness resources to help you stay consistent between visits.

All memberships include access to the CoreLife Care App, where you can track nutrition, activity, and key health metrics, monitor progress through interactive dashboards, and access personalized wellness content.

CoreLife offers three membership levels, each building on the last:

  • CoreCare Connect includes full access to the Care App, with nutrition tracking, progress monitoring, and tailored wellness content.
  • CoreCare Plus includes everything in Connect, along with SECA body composition tracking, fitness center access, and discounted personal training.
  • CoreCare Pro includes everything in Plus, plus six complimentary personal training sessions per year (limit one per month) and increased training discounts.

How often should I use my Care App?

The CoreLife Care App is designed to be part of your daily routine, helping bring your CoreLife Program into your everyday life. We recommend using it daily to track nutrition, activity, hydration, and more.

For many people, tracking builds awareness around habits they may not fully recognize, such as how much they’re eating, drinking, or moving throughout the day. Over time, this visibility helps you better understand your patterns and make more informed decisions.

Consistent use also helps bridge the gap between clinic visits by capturing what happens day to day. This allows you to stay more connected to your progress and helps ensure your time in the clinic builds on a more complete picture of your habits and routine.

How do I customize my app experience?

 

When you first log in, whether you are a new or returning user, you’ll be guided through a quick goal setup process. This helps personalize your experience from the start, including setting your current and goal weight, and choosing the areas you want to focus on within the app.

We recommend completing this setup to get the most out of your Care App experience. If you prefer to skip it, you can always return later and set or adjust your goals anytime through the “Goals” tab.

Once your goals are in place, the app can help tailor your experience even further, including personalized calorie targets, nutrient guidance, and other recommendations to support your progress.

How do I edit my goals?

To edit a goal, go to the “Goals” section and select the goal you would like to update. From there, you can adjust details such as daily calorie targets, macronutrient distribution, weekly activity goals, and weight goals.

If you would like to remove a goal, select “Manage Goals” at the bottom of the Goals page and choose “Remove” next to the goal you no longer want to track.

At launch, only the physical activity goal can be removed. Additional goal options will be added over time, giving you more flexibility to customize your experience as the app evolves.

Does my membership cover insurance copays?

No. The CoreLife Membership is a separate offering and does not apply to insurance copays or other insurance-related costs.

Your membership is designed to enhance your CoreLife Program experience by providing access to the Care App, fitness resources, and additional wellness tools that support your progress between visits. Insurance coverage for medical care is managed separately as part of your in-person program.

Does my Membership automatically renew?

Yes. Your membership automatically renews at the end of each billing period to ensure you continue to have seamless access to your CoreLife Care App and membership benefits without interruption.

If you ever decide the membership is no longer right for you, you can cancel at any time.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. To do so, please contact your local CoreLife clinic.

If you choose to cancel, you’ll continue to have access to your membership benefits through the end of your current billing cycle. Please note that membership fees are not refundable for billing periods that have already been processed.

Many members choose to continue their membership to maintain uninterrupted access to the Care App, fitness resources, and ongoing support between visits, but the decision is always yours.

How do I track my calories?

From your Home Screen or the “Track” menu, select Food & Nutrition. Start by reviewing your daily calorie goal, shown in the top-left of the screen.

If you need to make changes, return to the Home Screen, go to Goals, and select your daily calorie goal from the green card. From there, you can edit your target.

To log food, return to the Food Tracking page and select the “+” icon next to the meal you want to add. You can either search for your food item using the search bar or use the barcode scanner icon on the right side of the search bar to scan the item directly.

Once you’ve selected your food, review the serving size and quantity, then tap “Add to Meal.”

For a detailed breakdown of your nutrition, select the information icon next to the meal, or tap your full day view from the top bar where your calorie goal is displayed.

How do I add my own recipe or food Item?

From your Home Screen or the “Track” menu, select Food & Nutrition.

Choose the meal you would like to add your custom item or recipe to, then tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner.

From here, you can choose one of the following options:

Recipe Builder (for combined meals)

Select Recipe Builder if you are creating a meal made up of multiple ingredients.

  • Tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner
  • Enter a recipe name and serving size information
  • Add ingredients by either searching the database or entering them manually
  • Select Save

Note: You will be able to edit ingredient quantities after saving.

Once saved, go to My Recipes, select your recipe, and tap Log Recipe.
From here, you can:

  • Log it as a complete meal by selecting Log Recipe, or
  • Break it into individual ingredients by selecting Add Ingredients to log each item separately under your meal

My Foods (for single food items)

Select My Foods, then tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner.

  • Enter the name and key nutrition information for your food item
  • Save your entry

Once saved, find it in your list of foods, select it, and tap Log Food, then Add to Meal

Once created, both saved foods and recipes can be accessed anytime and added to any meal for ongoing use.

How do I view my progress?

From your Home Screen, scroll down to the My Progress section. Here, you can view key insights on a weekly and monthly basis, including how consistently you’ve been logging entries over time.

Select “View Detailed Progress” to explore more in-depth data. From here, you can filter the date range you’d like to review. By default, this is set to the past 7 days.

If you see “No Data” in any section, this simply means there isn’t enough logged information yet to generate meaningful insights. Continue tracking your meals, activity, and other metrics to begin building your progress view.

How do I sync my device?

From your Home Screen, select your profile icon in the top-left corner, then tap Connected Devices.

Here, you’ll see a list of available devices and platforms you can connect, such as Apple Health. Select Connect and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.

Once connected, you’ll begin to see shared metrics reflected within your app dashboards.

You can manage your permissions at any time in the Connected Devices section, including choosing which specific data (such as steps or other activity metrics) you would like to share.

How do I download content?

At this time, the CoreLife Care App does not include a built-in download feature for recipes or articles.

If you would like to save or print content, you may be able to use your device’s built-in options (such as printing or saving a page, depending on your device and browser settings) when viewing a recipe or article.

Is my data secure?

Your privacy and data security are a top priority. The CoreLife Care App is built to meet strict federal and state privacy standards, including HIPAA compliance, to ensure your personal health information is protected.

How do I manage my apple health permissions?

If you disconnect Apple Health metrics in the CoreLife app, we stop receiving new data – but to fully revoke permission, follow these steps on your device:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap Privacy & Security.
  • Select Health.
  • Tap CoreLife under the list of apps.
  • Turn off individual data types or tap Turn Off All to stop sharing entirely.

Once done, CoreLife will no longer have access to your Apple Health data.
